Meatloaf

Meatloaf is a terribly individual thing. I don’t like other people’s meatloaf. Other people’s meatloaf has things in it. My meatloaf is good. So when I inivited Steve over for dinner a few years ago and told him I was making Mamma Mormoni’s Meatloaf - I was not prepared to have him retreat in distaste. He didn’t trust my meatloaf. It might have things in it. This is a deeply meaningful statement on Life.

The outcome, however, is that Steve did come over for dinner, did eat my meatloaf, and found it tasty. I think that means he’s my brother. (See Egg Potato for further information.)

INGREDIENTS:

2-3 pounds of lean ground beef
salt and pepper
2 eggs
1/2 cup oatmeal (or bread crumbs, or cracker crumbs)
two or three shakes of Worchestershire sauce
a big glop of A-1 sauce (maybe two tablespoons)
garlic powder
onion powder
