Please do note that this edition of the cookbook was
composed while living at an altitude of 6500 feet,
so many recipes have a high altitude adjustment listed.
A caveat: in some recipes I had to guess at the amounts,
since I don't usually bother to measure unless I'm baking.
If you have any questions, just call and I will do my best to clarify.
I should also mention that I have omitted black pepper
from most recipes, since as many of you know,
I am allergic to it -- please add to taste.
I stole the idea of doing a cookbook from a very good friend.
I had no idea how much work this was.
(I don't think I could have a greater respect for Mary,
but let's say I now have a greater appreciation!)
I wish I could write like the people I stole the idea from
but that is definitely not my forte,
as anyone who expected a letter from me could tell you.
They wrote funny stories and stuff,
but all you get from me
is my love and affection - and recipes.
Love,
Terry
